Hi from ASK








Ny ybeogo! Good morning in Moore, one of the local languages in Burkina Faso. This was the first word we learned in country training. And as the time passes so fast we’re in  Koudougou excited to present the 3rd cohort of ASK team.

Let’s start with our ambitious  plan!

One of the main objectives is awareness raising for disability rights. We have planned events such as Solidarity day. We aim to collect surveys from members of the local community in order to know needs and recent attitudes of people on certain needs and wants. In conjunction with this, our team have also organised weekly sport sessions, lessons of IT, Maths, English and French, Project management and First Aid for partners association  in order to improve their capabilities.

Our team is made of 10 people. 5 UK and 5 Burkinabe.








Emily is from Wales and has just completed a master’s degree in Development and Human Rights.









Indre from UK and just graduated in media production . She believes that with a positive attitude everything is possible.












Ashlyn is UK volunteer, after this placement she is going to start a train engineering apprenticeship.





Rebekah, is from Yorkshire studying law+ accounting.






Charlotte is a British volunteer. Tina is a national; they are counterparts. the first week they have enjoyed integrating with the family by playing cards.












Tamini Stephane is a national,  he is studying accounting.








Emmanuel OUEDRAOGO is a law student at New Dawn University.














Aicha is a national , she is a law student. Her passion is to help invulnerable people











Yabre Karim is a Burkinabe, he studied HR management and he’s a writer.












Louise Shaw is the UK team leader  . She has a MA in Medieval History .










Arouna OUEDRAOGO is the national  team leader .He’s an actor in a society engaged to fight against corruption .

Y ybeogo! Bonjour en Moore, langue locale du Burkina Faso. Ce fut notre premier mot appris pendant la formation. Après la formation, on se retrouve a Koudougou bien motive de représenter la 3eme cohorte de l’équipe ASK.


Ainsi, commence notre ambitieux plan d’activités!


Un de nos principaux objectifs est la sensibilisation sur les droits des personnes en situation d’handicap. Nous avons planifié des évènements tels que une journée de solidarité. Nous avons l’intention d’effectuer des sondages dans le but de connaitre les besoins de la localité et l’attitude de la population en vue des personnes en situation de handicap. Allant dans ce sens, l’équipe envisage des sessions de sport hebdomadaire, des leçons en informatique, mathématiques, anglais et français, des séances de formations en soins de premier secours, gestion de projets a l’égard des associations partenaires dans le but d’améliorer leurs capacités.




Notre équipe est compose de 10 volontaires ,dont 5 Britanniques et 5 Burkinabès









Emily vient des  Pays Bas  elle vient de finir ses  études en Développement de Droit Humain.











Indre est Britannique ,diplômée en production de media  .Pour Indre toute chose  est  possible si l’on se comporte bien.














Ashlyn est britannique elle a étudié l’aviation. Elle a un intérêt particulier dans ce programme parce qu’elle aime le sport ,et adore aider les personnes en situation de handicap.





Rebekah est Britannique elle étudie le Droit et la comptabilité.






Charlotte est britannique, Tina Gladisse est volontaire nationale ;  Elles sont des Co chambrières ,la première semaine elles ont réussi leur intégration dans la famille d’accueil par des jeux de cartes.















Tamini Stéphane étudie la comptabilité . Il est volontaire national.








Emmanuel OUEDRAOGO est étudiant en droit a l’Université Aube Nouvelle














Aicha OUEDRAOGO, est étudiante en droit. Sa passion  est d’aider les personnes vulnérables.













Yabre Karim est Burkinabè, il a étudie la gestion des ressources humaines et est écrivain.












Louise Shaw est la chef d’équipe britannique. Elle a un master en Histoire Médiévale.














Arouna OUEDRAOGO est le chef d’équipe national. Il est acteur de la société civile et engage dans la lutte contre la corruption:
